The discounts are not quite as steep as the door busters many stores offer on the day, but great deals are available.
Many retailers offer free shipping. Amazon.com is offering to beat any retailer’s prices, eliminating the need to fight the crowds in person, or online. Amazon site says it has set up their website to display comparable bargains after scouring the web for competitors’ offers. In addition, many retailers started their Black Friday sales drive the previous Sunday and lasting all week.

Typically they offer discounts of about 30 - 40%. For the steep 50 - 60% discounts you’ll still have to brave the elements and crowds to go to the stores in person early morning on Black Friday.
